Find middle C and play your first three notes
On a piano, the black keys come in groups of two and three. C is always the white key just to the left of a group of two black keys.
The C in the middle of the keyboard is called middle C (C4). Put your thumb on it: that’s finger 1. Your index finger (2) goes on D, your middle finger (3) on E.
Go up, then back down: C-D-E, E-D-C. Let each note ring until the next one.
A classic three-note nursery tune. Measure 3 switches to eighth notes: two notes per beat.
