Pianamo keeps only what it needs to sign you in, save your progress and keep your sheet music, and counts its visits without cookies. No ads, no selling of data, no ad trackers.
Your Google account, when you sign in with “Sign in with Google”: your name, your email address, your profile picture and your Google account ID. Nothing else: Pianamo has no access to your emails or your Google files.
Your progress: stars, points, practice days, concepts to review and records. It’s also kept in your browser, so it works offline.
The files you import (audio, sheet music) and the sheet music Pianamo makes from them, stored in your library.
To identify you, sync your progress across your devices and show your library. This data is used for nothing else and is shared with no one.
To know which pages and lessons are useful, Pianamo counts its visits with Umami, an open-source tool hosted on our own server: no cookies, no storing of your IP address, no following you from one site to another. We see overall numbers (page views, country, device type, lessons completed, chords played, model of MIDI keyboard connected), never who you are.
If your browser asks not to be tracked (“Do Not Track”), nothing is counted.
A single cookie, strictly necessary: your session cookie, once you sign in. There are no analytics or advertising cookies, so there’s no banner to accept.
The sign-in button and the fonts are loaded from Google’s servers, which therefore receive your IP address. Signing in itself is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
As long as your account exists. A session expires after 60 days without signing in again.
You can delete your account at any time from your account menu: your account, your online progress and your library are erased right away. For any other request (access, correction, deletion of an imported file), write to olivier.lando@gmail.com. You can also file a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
