A melody and its bass over the hit-song progression

To wrap up the basics, a short original ballad: a melody in C position, over C – G – A minor – F, with the bass line from lesson 7.

It brings together everything you’ve learned: position, rhythms, dotted notes, both hands. Next up: famous tunes!
