Two notes per beat: Jingle Bells
An eighth note lasts half a beat: two eighth notes fit into one quarter note. Count “1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and.”
The Jingle Bells chorus fits entirely in C position and mixes quarter notes, eighth notes, half notes and a dotted quarter note.
Four eighth notes, then a half note, going up and coming back down.
The whole chorus. All the repeated E’s are played with finger 3.
